Adventure Golf Promotes Kingsfield Events and Visit West Lothian
During September Kingsfield welcomed 80 German Clients to take part in our Adventure Golf Activities.
In Scotland , the HOME of Golf , we have been working on Golf orientated activities but added ADVENTURE and excitement plus a touch of local Tourism to produce a novel way for visitors to enjoy all of these things under our Adventure Golf banner.
We had 4 Holes prepared for our customers and these included:
Hole 1 (Eagle Eye) The Skies over Linlithgow and West Lothian
Utilising FOUR Helicopters with 5 'golfers' on board each one they had the opportunity to view the wonderful countryside of West Lothian and check out Historic Sites like The House of Binns, Hopetoun House, Dalmeny House, The Forth Bridges, Linlithgow Palace. The HIGH FLYERS also had to spot their company logo, which had been painted onto the grass at several of these locations.
Hole 2 (Seg...mented Golf) Kingsfield Golf Range
This hole utilised 10 Segways and our SNAG Golf Equipment and the 'golfers' had to utilise both to travel between each part of the Golf Course and 'loft' balls into the practice nets, Putt on the special Greens and then try to stick the balls onto a Our SNAG Suited Golfer.
Hole 3 (Crossing Yer Balls) House of Binns
At this most wonderful of locations the golfers were presented with Golf Bags that they had to open to find a GUN! They then had to insert their Customised Company Logo'd batteries to the gun and then after some instruction on the use of the Laser Clay weapon they were ready to play. Our
Kingsfield Golf Professional then lofted 'golf balls' into the air for the golfers to 'shoot' at. All hits and misses were recorded on the electronic scoreboard.
Hole 4 (Watch the Birdie) Blackness Castle
Here our Falconer had prepared radio controlled ‘rabbits’ with Golf Balls in their mouths! The golfers had to choose one of the selection of bird of prey to represent them. The aim being that the bird would chase the ‘rabbit’ and take the golf ball and drop it into either the Albatross, Eagle or Birdie hole!
The above holes were all within 2-3 miles of each other and the 'Golfers' were transported between each HOLE by a fleet of 20 Land-rovers! Great fun was had by all the participating golfers and they had the opportunity to view some of the most spectacular countryside and Historic Sites in West Lothian.
